16-03-2005 Following discussions between representatives of the “Innocent Souls” Association on the one side, and eng. S. Ciobanu, director of SPS Craiova, and veterinary medic Avram, on the other, an agreement has been reached regarding procedures for putting down stray dogs housed in the Facai shelter. Thus, the agreement stipulates that, beginning from the 17th of March 2005, any euthanasia of a dog should be carried out exclusively be lethal injection, and should always be overseen by a member of the “Innocent Souls” association. Prior to the above-mentioned date, the latter association has taken upon itself to intensify its efforts to give for adoption as many dogs form the shelter as possible. Indeed, as a consequence of this, twenty dogs were adopted from the shelter, in the space of only a few days.
Nonetheless, to our stupefaction, during the night of 13th-14th of March 2005, sixty dogs from the Facai shelter were barbarically killed, and their bodies disappeared without a trace. We have since been given information according to which the bodies of the murdered dogs have been sold to various interested parties. This would explain why the dogs were killed at night, in secret, without a member of our association present, as the agreement required.
Therefore, we ask for your help in investigating this matter, and in putting a stop to such activities which stain the image of our city.
14-03-2005 Site design has changed significantly for the better as a result of the development of our project. This site is a communication tool through which our members will be acknowledged of our actions.
10-01-2005 Groups of 4-5 association members go to the dog pound once every two days to feed the dogs and clean the shelters. We need your support to make this action a daily one. We are waiting for you !

agreement protocol will be handed to the Mayor of Craiova; this document states that our association will be administrating the dog shelter from Facai.
